Bad news Joseph.  Go to http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/ to get into
the ASSIST.  Once there you will find that MIL-PRF-55110 is not cancelled,
but merely inactive for new design.  Your best bet at this point is to talk
to your PCB supplier and hope that he has something that will give your
customer a good feeling about the change.

Our PWB expert is out on vacation, and I'm being drawn
into a discussion with a customer about 55110C.

We've moved to 6011/6012 for rigid boards, but I'm not sure
exactly how we've documented or justified this change.

My understanding is that the Mil spec has changed
into a PRF, currently at Rev. G, and it's a practical
impossibility to comply with 55110C because DSCC has
gotten out of the business of administering the requirements.

It would be great if I could show the customer a cancellation
notice for 55110 that points to the IPC specs, but I can't
seem to find one.

Can anyone illuminate the trail please?
