I believe you can simply eliminate the salt, if you are using the correct flux, and insure that the Tin is kept as dross-free as possible. Also important is to move the panels from the microetch preceding the process, through the process directly, with no hold times, to insure that there is no tarnish on the board when it contacts the Tin.
