Hi all,
Spent a few weeks wandering around in England - am now back in the US. I
have had some interesting replies to my various letters to Europe on Lead in
solders. I will publish later in the week when I have caught up on events
and email.
The service provider for the blog is not having much luck on fixing the
issues so there will be a new blog format which will I trust be a lot more
easily book marked. I will have that up and running this week but it will be
transparent since it will use the same link. I will publish a link address
to get to the old one for archive purposes when it is changed over.
Hope you are all having fun. For the record I went into a few ARGOS stores
in the UK which must arguably be the largest retailer of electronics there -
and trust me they don't know ANYTHING about recycling requirements or any of
the WEEE legislation.
Oh well.
John
