I understand at least one dicy cured material (NPG-170TL) is adequate
for multilayer lead free assembly. It is halogen free and lacks the
tetrabromo bisphenol A and sports a >165C Tg and similar Td, T260, T288
specifications as non-dicy materials.

Hi,
The reason why for thicker PCBs Tg's of 130 or 140C are inadequate is
because
of the large alpha-2-CTE for a much larger delta-T [270-130=140 vs.
270-170=100C]. this can make the difference between PTH barrels cracking
or surviving
the soldering processes.
