I agree, I remember 2 years ago I was driving my street bike, middle of
summer and pulled up at a light on Montague Expressway in Santa Clara, and
thought I could smell gas. I glanced down and there between the fairing and
the tank I could see the pressure return line from the fuel injection where
the union had cracked and the line was spraying neat fuel over the engine.

I have to tell you my first thought was not for the youngs modulus of the
fuel line...................8-)

        I have always said that if flammable liquids get to the live
electronics, you are going to have more problems than stripping of the
CC.

Are the PWAs used in the wings? If so, will JP-4 jet fuel (mostly
kerosene) contact them? Check the PWA design and placement plus
compatibility;  some of the UR coatings used to be strippable with
kerosene......
