Ramon,

I think the comments from the many folks who have added their names as
petitioners clarify and expand the meaning of what was initially stated in
the petition by John.

Hopefully the EU representatives will read the additional comments as well.

If John wants to resubmit an additional reworded petition, he wouldn't have
any trouble getting me to support it as well. The lunacy of the RoHS
legislation astounds me... and I have already expressed my astonishment at
the mad rush of industry to join up with the RoHS movement over the last few
years... My hope is that we can finally get them to reconsider their
position on removing lead from solder and pull out of this giant fiasco
before more companies suffer the losses they will undoubtedly experience due
to the backlash of unwary consumers purchasing inferior less reliable
products.

Best regards,

re-think.

I second Edward's point of view. Words such as: Based on
data.... we came to the conclusion.... or after reviewing scientific
evidence from .... we concluded that... would be more persuasive.

Hi John,
I sign the petition . I am In doubt about the initial phrase "I believe
that the lead in solders removal as legislated ...".
English is not my mother language, but I think, that here you should use
here expression showing our professional knowlegde and experience .It
seems to me, that "believe" is coming from spiritual background and does
not represent opinion that could be justified.

Edward
