If I wrote one my note would be:

"Please assemble so that no components are dropping off, wrong way around, upside down, missing or wrong part. Please also assemble so that assuming the parts are correct it works when tested.
Please also ensure that it does 'not' get bashed about during handling (thereby breaking the caps) nor handled without anti static precautions taking place."

Anything further than that is asking for a miracle... lol
Of course, I would never ever dream of sending it to the shop floor, the women would eat me for lunch!!

Isn't an assembly note only likely to be needed if something is non standard?

Otherwise all assembly methods should be standard practise & documented in assembly procedures.

So any assembly note then would need to be individually written?

Matthew.
