Here is a Basic Outline of the Agenda:
We will take our guests through Engineering Documentation, Processesing and Programming. They will then move on to SMT (review of Stencil printer, Pick and Place and Reflow) and how to reduce the need for additional SMT touch up. The tour will then continue to Through Hole where insertion practices, Wave Soldering etc will be discuss. At that time we will move into Test. We have arranged for Mike Bartnick from Bravo Test Services to be here to give a thorough overview of the advantages of ICT testing. We will be discussing X-Ray and AOI as well.
At that time we will adjourn for refreshments and allow people to go back out to the line and ask questions of the staff. We are anticipating about 10 minutes at each station of the tour, 20 minutes for refreshments and approximately 30 minutes for Q and A. During the refreshments, Our Director of Engineering will review our Design Review Document with everyone (this is a handy checklist that they can take with them and will allow them to review their design for manufacturability). Additionally, we will have our Manufacturing Engineering Manager on hand to briefly review Lead Free (RoHS) compliance and some of things to keep in mind when going lead free.
Hope to see you there!
