You looking specifically for train sounds?
My father in law just passed away and he had a collection of albums with
various sound effects, a lot of trains, some steam as well....
Maybe standing on a highway overpass with a recorder and waiting for the
Kenworth or Peterbuilts would help quench your thirsts??
Personally I prefer the sounds of small aircraft...and actually the smell of
AvGas is the best!
