The certification company that worked with Sigmatel is McDonald Consulting
Group (http://www.mcdcg.com/), and they worked under the auspices of the
National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).  I saw their presentation at
the Central Texas Electronics Association (local IMAPS + SMTA chapters) at
the end of March.  This was the first time I had ever heard of HSPM, so I am
advocating or endorsing NOTHING here.....

Who is CMS, the consulting firm selling such certification services? Who
certified them?

How long did it take them to become the expert and how much money did they
spend to become the certification source.

How long does the survey take and how much does it cost?

I sense lots of money about be begin moving from pocket to  purse in pursuit
of a piece of paper to hang on a wall.

I trust (hope?) that this is not like the official certified  Internet
university degrees being so commonly offered.
