This is a standard call out. I deal with aircraft components where the supplier owns part of the design engineering authority. For those components our product specification lists certain data that is required as part of the product acceptance test. We review and approve the supplier Acceptance Test Procedure. The Supplier's ATP is a controlled document (under revision control and often requires my company's approval if anything changes). The document number and revision of the ATP is listed onn AS-9102 forms.

Sort of long winded, but listing the document identification and revision level of the equivalent to an ATP is what is being required. Parts that are shipped without a functional test would list this item as N/A. I would tend to list bare board continuity tests as N/A. I suggest you check with your customer to determine their expectation.
