Genny,

We use Kyzen MX2501 in our vapor degreaser (NPB Free); and Kyzen Cybersolve for general hand cleaning. They work very well, but it depends on the customer requirements and the odor acceptability level the floor personnel can handle (of course they all are different). We switched from Ensolve to Cybersolve and MX2501 because of the odors; the NPB's in the chemistries; and costs. Now the odors are gone and our cleaning is just as good or even better depending on the situation. We to use no clean flux and the requirements are that the CCA's must be completely residue free, so these materials suit us very well.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [TN] Board wash

Hello all,
Do any of you use liquid board wash for spot-cleaning hand assembly
operations?
We have a bulk liquid we have been fond of and purchasing for years, but
recently the formulation had to be changed by the manufacturer, and it
is much more "aromatic" than it used to be. Complaint volume is
increasing...
We are looking for alternative suggestions.
We use no-clean solder and flux, but we spot-clean flux added to
assemblies during hand-soldering operations, since it may not get fully
heated and rendered inert.

Thanks as always for your time.

Genny
