Hi all,



I sent RoHS support docs across to Europe yesterday - nice people, I sent
them at 6-30 pacific pointing out that the deadline merely said May 15th,
and they apparently accepted them.



You can view all of the exemption requests support documents that I have
submitted at this backdoor link http://www.rohsusa.com/page18.html or select
from the Exemptions menu at the main site at http://www.rohsusa.com

On either method, to get to the latest submissions hit the hyperlink that is
annotated "Comments and support from RoHS USA for 9 of the exemption
applications".

Nine of the applications are supported on environmental grounds. The SWATCH
application is further supported on the tin whiskering issue. For anyone
that was concerned, all I can say having read that white paper is "be
afraid".

And yes it's true, the US postal service (Bless them) has approved the
artwork for the Pushback logo on stamps. So you can now send your letters of
protest etc using these.. You can get them from the main site at
http://www.rohsusa.com <http://rohsusa.com/>  hit the "buy Pushback stuff"
button on the main menu and take a look. Note this is going to an
environmental charity..
