I got to thinking about what the single largest influence is - in the
electronics industry today - some might say China, others perhaps India -
some might say RoHS. I came to the conclusion that the decisions made
rightly or wrongly, by one group of people - unbounded by budgetary
considerations - is the single most influential underlying driver for the
industry - a group of people who meet in Brussels and elsewhere known simply
as the TAC..
Having come to this realization I penned a short article called :
"The electronics industry and the environment are both UNDER A TAC"
