There are separate documents for J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.

IPC-HDBK-001 with amendments 1 and 2
IPC-HDBK-610 with amendment 1

Each of these handbooks includes an extensive clause by clause
cross-reference for Revs B to C to D, sorted three ways to each Rev.

Each of these handbooks retains the B to C change info in the body of
the document, along with general discussions to provide understanding of
the criteria. Additional tables were added in each handbook for C to D
CRITERIA change info. Not every editorial change is listed (usually
readability or rename clause headers to make subject clearer) but all
REQUIREMENTS changes are covered.

Subject: [TN] IPC-A-610 Rev D - What's Changed?
Importance: High

Is there a quick reference available anywhere as to what actually
changed in the newest revision of 610? I attended a seminar back in May
of 2005 which went through the differences but we only received a list
of different page references between Rev C and Rev D sections. That is
helpful for those of us who were familiar with Rev C and want to
cross-reference to where the new information is located in Rev D.
However, there is no "list" that I know of that has each change, section
by section, with a "from" and "to" format to explain what might have
changed from acceptable to not acceptable, or vice versa.

You can also download an "errata sheet" from the IPC website that lists
three pages of errors that should be changed in the Rev D standard. But
again, there is no guidance as to what has changed from acceptable to
not acceptable, and vice versa. Has anyone attempted this and would you
be willing to share the resulting document? I would also be willing to
proof it against the standard if you don't have time to...

Thanks!
