One way to do this would be to use a Moisture Barrier Bag (MBB) to store the components when they are issued to the floor and label the MBB with the MSL level of the component and the floor life remaining. I am assuming you have a internal standard document that lineates the way moisture sensitive components are to be handled, stored and processed in the facility (as per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033B. also look at J-STD-020C)

Subject: [TN] Moisture Sensitive Components

Our boards contain various components that are moisture sensitive. How
is the best way to identify these components so the operators know how
to properly process these devices? The components get issued from the
stockroom in only the quantity need for the job.

We normally only do repair/rework of our boards which are built by
outside suppliers. Would a drawing note or a flag in the parts list be
the best method to identify moisture sensitive components?
