Hi Yusuf! The JSTD-003 committee has just completed the 003A revision work
which will included Pbfree solderability test parameters. The specification
ballot will be going out to the industry shortly for vote. Most pwb
fabricators will provide a pwb with a solderable finish that is acceptable
for 12 months. After that you are on your own. I recommend you contact your
pwb fabricator to discuss and come to a common resolution on what your
shelf life expectations are and what the pwb fabricator is willing to sign
up for. The JSTD-003 specification will provide how to solderability test.

Hello Technetters
Do you know the shelf life of HASL SAC305 coated PCB. I have read an
article in EPP magazine and it says 12 months. Does IPC have such a
specified standard or paragraph informing self life of lead free coated
bare PCB
