General polling question -
Two of our current PCB fab vendors sub-contract out to other firms
the application of Peters Paste for plugging vias for via in pad
designs, and
then bring the boards back in-house for the final plating and finishing
the boards up.
The above step often adds one day to current lead times.
Just Curious.
Why don't all fab vendors have this capability in house?
Do all fab vendors sub-contract this process step out of house?
Is the process so different from the normal pcb process, that Via in pad
should be avoided?
Thanks for any response.
Dave
