Hi Scott, IPC LF Listservers,

Help us or me out with the second part of your message.
Where are you getting this information, and what is the WEEE Category.

<what is reason behind that earphones, speakers, microphones that are
considered as accessories, do not fall into RoHS Directive.>

<== Your message
I have read on NWML that cable falls into RoHS Directive. If cable needs
to comply with RoHS Directive, what is reason behind that earphones,
speakers, microphones that are considered as accessories, do not fall into
RoHS Directive.>>>

The link to the NWML in the UK for the cable reference is:

http://www.rohs.gov.uk/FAQs.aspx#15

With a computer shipped to you I would expect the speakers to be LF.

Yours in Engineering, Dave
