The Pb content of Pb-free solders depends on the impurity levels of the tin
from which it is made and can be almost anything you want. At the risk of
stirring up a hornets nest, I will also note that a maximum of 0.1%Pb allows
that quantity which rounds to 0.1% and can be as high as 0.14999 recurring.

It may allow us to reclaim all those soldering iron tips that are still
in good shape, just contaminated with Pb?
The Pb percentage in the base solder they used is awfully close to the
RoHS limit.  Is that a normal expected Pb percentage for SAC alloys?
