technical reference that my be of use:
Ewing's Analytical Instrumentation Handbook, edited by Jack Cazes, ISBN
0-8247-5348-8
This book covers everything: FTIR, IC, SEM, Xray, GC, HPLC, DSC, TGA,,
AA, ICP, etc.
