Joyce,
We normally get our IPC boards from Diversified Systems in Indianapolis
(www.divsys.com). And they sometimes carry a few packs in stock in a
variety of metalizations.

They are usually clean enough as delivered, but we have had a few
questionable batches over the years. The same can be said of most
suppliers I have worked with over the years. Just in case, we run
everything through our in-line cleaner to be safe, considering how much
time and effort goes into processing after we get them.

There is always the option of taking the Gerber files (which both IPC and I
keep on file) and having them made at the vendor of your choice. This is
useful if you are going to be working with your chosen mask and your chosen
metalization. Not something I would trust to an off the shelf item.

What are you using the B-25A for? There might be better alternatives.

As for the Sandia Chips, the last time I checked, they were being allowed
to go obsolete, but you could order them, if you have access to a huge pile
of gold. I know of no one who carries these as a stock item other than
Sandia.

Guys and Gals,
need some info under your desk:
(1) Does anyone supply "clean" off the shelf IPC-B-25A coupon for SIR test
of conformal coat? Any of the SIR gurus have anything in their sleeves?
(2) Does any of gurus know the current supplier of Sandia ATC03 and ATC04
chips? (not the ASIC type you have to buy a run of 20 wafer full of that
stuff, just one waffle pack or two would be enough sentence me to the "lab
prison" for rest of the year..may be longer).
Many thanks in advance. Googling did me no good so far...
Best regards,
                                         jk
