                Does the tap water gets filtered? It seems to me that
water has too many solids  in some parts of the world. Those solids may
cause shorts in some instances or poor adhesion.

Frank,

Actually you do not want to use DI rinse after chem. clean and prior to
dry film lamination. Not only expense but the film does not like the
surface left by DI.
