Part of the answer depends on the flux you are using. Your flux
manufacturer should provide you specific data for topside temperature as you exit the
last preheat before wave contact. Often that information will include more
than one temperature range based on the conveyor speed for your process. As a
general guideline, something around 80-100C for conveyor speeds in the 3-4
feet/minute range will work well. For speeds above 4 feet/minute, bump that up
to 90-110C.
