Hi John,
The 2% Ag representing a 'saturation' level is somewhat of an 'urban legend,'
as is that it will stop leaching. It may slow leaching, but not stop it. I
can disolve a heck more than 2% Ag in solder; it simply will form Ag/Sn IMC
leading to Ag-embrittlement.
