I don't know about rout times but you can get software here ("drillrun") to
compute drill times.

Hello All,

Is there a book or a software tool out there that I can buy and use to
help develope a method for estimating how long it would take to drill (or
rout) a PWB.

The information I would typically have at hand is the CAD design file and
Gerber information (the drill table and Gerber drill file). I would
probably have to obtain drill machine information from drill machine
manufacturers or PWB suppliers.

I'm not looking for absolute accuracy here, just a means of computing a
rough drill time and estimating comparisons between various drill diameter
and hole quantity options......sort of an up-front DFM tool.
