Depends upon what type ESD bags and dessicant you would be using.

I've not seen very good results after a month or two with the 'pink bags'.
We use the foil moisture barrier bags with dessicant which seem to provide
best results, even up to 12 months storage.

Not sure of the part number of these bags but they are silver-colored with a
black internal coating. If you put these bags up to the light you cannot see
through them (as opposed to many silver/foil bags). We place product in the
pink bag cut to fit the board, then place that and a dessicant (not touching
the board) into the foil back and vacuum seal. This makes a completely inert
environment, on occasion the product may come out tarnished, this is most
likely due to contaminates (oxides and such from the atmosphere) on the
product before packaging and usually do not present problems.
