How about a sponge that automatically changes colour to show if you are using leaded or lead free solder - sort of like a Litmus Sponge.

you just need one box and the operator has to just flip them over each

Genny,
Make the container in which Yellow Foam is placed of different color, and
with pre printed labels like Leaded or Lead Free. That way cost of yellow
foam will stay the same and you will be able to separate leaded from lead
free operation.
