As I said in the presentation.........

Engineers and the Politicians are in violent agreement, politicians do
not want the environment harmed, electronics industry and its engineers
do not want to harm the environmet....

What we have to do is find a way of expressing this agreement in better
legislative collaboration in a way that will get the results faster,
without mis-information diverting both the true value of correctly
focused legislation, while at the same time enabling continued supply of
reliable cost effective product to the consumer.

It might be as appropriate to consider some of the specious
environmentalists' arguments as a "green washing" of the issues.

Either your Psychoanalyst's under garment ( Freudian slip )is showing or
you have a thing for Streetcar Named Desire, but it seems you think John
was trying to white wash the issues.

Hi Dave,

The link is below and the presentation slides are there.

John did a great job of presenting the issues in a truly fair and
blanched manner (unlike Fox "News" ;-)

Tom Ellison of Finisar gave a financial reckoning of the cost of
conversion and it was not a happy picture.

There you will find presentation materials from most of our local IEEE
CPMT group evening presentations for the last couple of years.

Very best,
Joe
