Good Morning Rich,
Appendix C of J-STD-001 references IPC-9201 for guidance on SIR testing
and IPC-TM-650 Method 2.6.3.3.
Based on past experience, I'm sure Mr. Dew (Doug Pauls) could be very
enlightening on this subject!

Subject: [TN] IPC - SIR Flux Qualification Standard
There is an IPC document dealing with the change of flux used to produce
an assembly. I believe that it states that you need to perform SIR
testing on 10 assemblies, without failure
Does anyone know this document number?
I'm not referring to the SIR requirements in J-std-004 or -005, or the
subsequent test method refereed to in those.
