The Vikes finshed up at 9-7, out of the playoffs. They basically
self-imploded during the last 4 games of the season.
Highlights: Brad Johnson did a fine job filling in for the injured Daunte
Cullpepper at quarterback.
Lowlights: while on a "bye" week some players took out a couple of boats to
cruise lake Minnetonka and some sex-tra-curricular activities forced the
boat captain to return to shore early and notify the authorities.
A fisherman friend of mine said "you've got to do an extraordinary job to
offend the crew and captain". And the vikings did just that. Judicial
procedings probably in the off-season for the stand-out performers.
