Now that Isola is purchasing Polyclad I would recommend the IS415 We
have used it and found it to be very reliable.

Subject: Re: [TN] IS410 FR-4 laminate

IS410 works well - somewhat similar to FR4 with some processing
differences as described in the Isola's processing guidelines. I would
also recommend looking at the IS415, as this is the next generation over
the IS410. IS410 was developed for CAF resistance and when the LF
assembly issues came to light Isola realized it had good performance
thermally as well. The materials electrical properties are not the best
and the IS415 was developed with lower Dk and loss. I would also look
at the Polyclad FR370HR as this if likely the material to become the LF
offering as the companies merge, leaving the IS410 behind. 370HR seems
to be the preferred material, certainly in Asia.

Subject: [TN] IS410 FR-4 laminate

I am looking to switch from Nelco N4000-6 to Isola IS410 laminate. I
wanted to know if anyone would be willing to share there experience with
this material. This material will be used in a lead free process.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
