Hi Amol,
This is one of the many issues coutesy of the brainless EU-parliament.
The only way to avaluate this shrinkage fissures is to x-section them--after
you do this, you need to make a judgment [great for consultants!?] of whether
or not the crack tips provide a stress riser for any operational loading
conditions.
