Hi,

Great that you are thinking, Ultra Sonics shouldn't normally mitigate tin
whiskers. It would be great if if was a liquid yet not for a solid.

The best resource I can give you at present is the IEEE CP&MT special
edition on Tin Whiskers. Also look at iNEMI and NASA links.
