Hi LS,
Unfortunately, with LF-solders we--that is the whole industry and its
customers--are stuck  between this proverbial rock and a hard place courtesy of the
no-brain EU-parliament. there are currently no ways--even inaccurate ones--to
demonstrate long-term product reliability with LF-solders. That is the prime
reason they exempted some of the more critical product categories.
At this point in time my suggestion is to use SnPb-based modeling and
together with a suitable Safety Factor (read Ignorance Factor] multiplier--the
64,000-dolar-question is of course what is 'suitable.'
