Hello netters
I was wondering if I could get some information about the status of the
RoHS Directive.
We have been hearing things like:
Have 9 states already outlaw certain RoHS materials effective
Jan 1, 2006?
Due date of July 1 is being moved back for the auto industry;
does anyone know where any document to substantiate this can be found?
Lead free solder has problems with reliability:
Tin whiskers.
Proper filling of thru holes.
Solder plating corrosion.
Any expertise in this area would be greatly appreciated as I am hearing
everyone is quite confused about the status of the RoHS Directive .
Thank You
