Hi David, JohnB, IPC LF Listservers,

Lawn and Garden EEE is included if it is sold to a consumer or like-
consumer household (i.e. business that acts like a consumer in terms of
disposal). Radial Arm Saws, small machinist eee machines are included and
L&G is really not usually different.

If they are only selling spare parts to older equipment inorder to keep it
running forever and ever then they would be exempt.

My only guess, based on similar stories read or heard, is that some
companies might want to see their specific product listed in the
directives. When they don't see their specific product listed they claim
exemption.

I can think of other things, yet that's all for now.
