Oh, man...

You might not be so quick to say that if you'd ever tried to USE that
tool.  It absolutely sucks seeds, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst
enemy :)

Hi Heather,

You're driving down One Battle Road, and I wouldn't get in the car with
you. You're new to PCB design (not to the industry though), and the
company has invested $$$ into a platform that obviously someone decided
was good enough to do your company's designs. I'd say develop your
department (and all the processes) around that tool to the best of it's
and your abilities and you'll be the champ. There might be some building
blocks to develop, but you'll be more ahead doing it with what you have,
than fighting the corp heads who made the purchase.

I mean this with all sincerity. Been there, done that. Left...
