We specify the finish on the fab drawing.
Since the lead free board should have the appropriate lead free symbol
identifier, I would think the board needs to be rev'd to avoid
confusion.

Subject: [DC] RoHS Compliance for bare PCB
What are others doing in the situation of specifying a new finish for
RoHS compliance on a board that is already in production?
Do you specify the new finish on the PO?
Do you ECO your documentation and bring the board up to the next rev?
This would mean generating new Gerber files to include the new rev
status.
Do you up rev only the documentation?
How would you identify the board with the new finish?
...................
..............
Just trying to get a feel of what others are doing....
