You could view this another way. Marmite is a hazardous byproduct of
beer production, and the preferred method of disposal is to use small
children to re-process the material.

bets thing about Marmite is that it is by-product of the British beer
brewing industry... more marmite produced, more beer produced a perfect
symbiotic relationship.
Thats why we Brits bring up our kids on Marmite on toast - its an
acquired taste that takes lots of practice... just like ale...
