Kenny,

The scope of articles covered by the RoHS Directive is defined as equipment
falling into the categories set out in Annex 1A of the WEEE Directive. That
annex does not include Avionics equipment. The exemption is thus by
non-inclusion.

Subject: [TN] RoHS Avionics Exemption

The word on the street is that Avionics are exempt from the RoHS
requirements. Does anyone know where I can find the actual words that define
that exemption?

Thanks,

KennyB
