I concur. However, if you want something that looks cosmetically better,
you should ask your supplier to hard-anodise and seal the parts in
boiling water for 30 minutes. This will resist alkaline cleaners (pH
<12) much better than conversion coatings (and can be dyed in a very
wide range of beautiful colours, to boot!).
