I was under the impression that sheet lead for x-ray shielding purposes
was exempt from WEEE and RoHS.

Subject: [LF] Lead Shielding in Subject EEE
Folks: Let's say lead sheeting is used to contain x-rays in a piece of
equipment which is arguably EEE. Would we agree that that sheeting (and
any
alloy in the equipment not meeting the specific characteristics in the
exemptions in RoHS Annex #6) would be fully subject to RoHS and would
cause
the equipment to be non-compliant with RoHS?
Thanks! jw
!! God Blesses !!
