A clarification please.
"Unless it is the supply voltage, then high internal voltages are not the
basis for exemption."
When you say "unless it is the supply voltage," do you mean voltage
supplied to the device, or do you mean the optput of some internal power
supply? The X-ray generating device Jerome is working with may plug into
the wall, but it probably generates 20KV or higher from some sort of
internal power supply.
