Hi Barb,

I can see that you have had many responses to your question,  I was
thinking about ionizing to prevent possible further ESD damage.  You are
not sure how it was handled in the field.  I know when we receive units
they look more like they have gone through a battle zone before they made
it to us.
Making sure y our source is moisture free and ionized are the only
suggestion's I could make.

Every response I have read so far could not steer you wrong.
