Hands down, this is the best method!  All the problems stated here and in other replys are real!

Now to convince my management team.

Don't! (ESD) Better to wash them off with DI water plus detergent
followed by copious DI water rinses and dry. In any case, most
compressed air is too dirty for using on electronic assemblies.
