Hi Barb,

I would not recommend using regular compressed shop air to blow off the dust
bunnies on your boards. Compressed air, unless it is highly filterd and has
moisture traps in place, is too "dirty". One thing we have done in the lab
to remove dust from cut boards (may not be practical on the assembly floor)
is to use purified and compressed nitrogen gas. The gas is inert and should
not cause you any problems. I would caution that you get purified nitrogen
if you decide to go this route. The other nitrogen grades available may
have some impurities. If you don't like that idea or it is impractical, I
would use a good DI or saponified wash, with a thorough DI rinse and bake.
My 2 cents.

Best Regards,

Joe Russeau
