Ingemar:  What is the process you use for plating on to Kovar?  This should work for Inconel as well.

  The main issue, after you have gotten the Inconel clean, which could be a challenge, is to get it to plate without getting immersion Copper first, which would adhere loosely.  In the "old days", platers got around the immersion plating problem by using alkaline Copper plating baths, such as Cyanide, or Pyrophosphate.

  Since you also face the issue of immersion Copper on Kovar, whatever works for Kovar, would work well on Inconel.

sulphate copper bath. The plated copper was 50 micrometers
