I've noticed the attachments, too.

I'm pretty careful about what I open, avoiding anything with a .exe, .zip, ..pif, .com, .bat, etc. extension that looks like it could execute code. Also need to be concerned about MS app files such as .doc and .xls that could execute macros. But .pdf files are usually OK, along with attached mail messages. However, in cyberspace there ain't no such thing as excess caution.

Then why did I get the attachment?
The TechNet list used to strip them off, but the LeadFree list did not.
At least not for me. And now I see that this one came thru the TechNet
list, so it doesn't appear to be taking them off any more, either.

The LeadFree list attachment issue has been puzzling me for some time,
and I have even emailed Keach Sasamori about it a couple of times, but
got no response and things haven't changed.

I am concerned about starting to get attachments thru both of these
lists, now.

Anyone else receiving attachments?
