Lead wheel weights disappeared from Switzerland over 10 years ago, on
the (true) grounds that about 15% of the weights disappeared before they
could ever be recovered (worked loose through shocks, scraped against
kerbs, the clip corroding from salted roads etc.).

As for windows, non-lead channeling has been available for many years,
along with lead-free low-melting point solder, so this is hardly an
issue. However, the stained glass that goes into the channels still
contains lead :-)

Of course bullets should not contain lead. A 9 mm one passing through
the heart or brain may leave residues which could cause lead poisoning!
